Accomplished Trucking Operations Manager Elvis Parra

The recipient of an associate of applied science degree in liberal arts from Borough of Manhattan Community College, Elvis Parra is the operations manager at Prestige Express in Newark, New Jersey. There, Elvis Parra oversees daily office and trucking workflows, with responsibilities spanning scheduling, coordination, and operational improvements.

From 2005 through 2015, Mr. Parra served as the president of Newark’sE&K Trucking, where he led a large driver team, developed sales relationships, and handled administrative work that included scheduling and accounting. Mr. Parra joined Prestige Express as operations manager in 2015, bringing experience in logistics coordination, driver management, and transportation safety compliance.

Earlier in his career, Mr. Parra oversaw Ironbound Express from 2001 to 2004. He managed port-terminal container pickups and drop-offs while coordinating routes and schedules with clients and dispatch teams. He earned hazmat and double-tank endorsements in 2006.

A sports fan in his free time, Elvis Parra follows NBA basketball and Major League Baseball and plays basketball himself. He completed the Rutgers Safety Clinic’s Sports Awareness for Educating Today’s Youth program and has coached baseball, basketball, and soccer teams.
